What it is
The Safelift is a minimally invasive mini-facelift that tightens the lower face and jawline through small, well-hidden incisions. The procedure
The procedure is performed in-office under local tumescent anesthesia. Through discreet incisions around the ear, Dr. Malouf tightens the underlying tissue and removes excess skin. The procedure typically takes 1–2 hours and you remain comfortable and awake.
Recovery
Most patients return to normal activities within 1–2 weeks. Bruising and swelling resolve over the first two weeks. Because no general anesthesia is used, recovery is generally faster and safer.

What to expect
How the Safelift procedure works
1. Consultation
Dr. Malouf personally evaluates your anatomy, discusses your goals, and confirms whether the Safelift is the right procedure for you.
2. Day of procedure
You arrive at the Fort Worth office. Incision lines are marked. Tumescent anesthesia is infiltrated slowly and completely into all operative areas.
3. SMAS repositioning
Dr. Malouf raises the skin flap, addresses the SMAS with a short-scar technique, and repositions the lower face and jawline.
4. Closure
The flap is secured with permanent deep sutures. Skin is closed under no tension. Incisions are hidden at the tragus and along the hairline.
5. Go home the same day
No overnight admission. You leave the office in a soft dressing and go home with a driver.
6. Recovery
Sutures removed at about one week. Most patients return to social activity within 7–10 days.
