Reverse the Signs of Aging with Botox
While many people would consider Botox a treatment just for middle aged or older women, it is often done preventatively on those who are much younger. Doctors are seeing an increased amount of people coming in that are in their 20s and 30s for preventative botox procedures. This is because starting Botox injections earlier in life can ultimately reverse minor wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming at all.
Botox is convenient. After an initial consultation has been done many Botox procedures can be completed in under an hour; making it ideal for those that live busy and hectic lives. No anesthesia is needed for the treatment, but ice packs or numbing cream may be applied to eliminate any discomfort. After the injections are received, it can take three to seven days for it to take effect. While it is typically tolerated very well, in some cases, there can be side effects, the most common one being pain at the injection site. Less common side effects can include a headache, nausea, blurred vision, and flu like symptoms.
